Who can use VAT documentation?
The “VAT Registration” service appears for an account that meets all of the following:
- 1An activated broker account — its FAL licence has been activated. (See the “Activating a broker account” section.)
- 2An establishment number on the account: the commercial register number or the unified national number.
- 3The account is not recorded as an individual broker in its FAL licence details.
When the service does not appear
- An individual account, even when it is an activated broker account.
- An account without a commercial register number or unified national number.
- An account whose FAL licence is not activated.
Seeing the service is not documentation
Meeting these conditions only makes the service available to you. That the account represents a company or establishment, and that you may represent it, is established by reviewing the documents you attach to the request — the establishment counts as documented only once its status is “Verified”.
