Following “My clients’ contracts”: statuses, approvals and documents
Where is “My clients’ contracts”?
- 1Open your profile, then the “Rental Contracts” section.
- 2Broker accounts see three tabs:- “My clients’ contracts”: contracts you created for your clients.- “My contracts as owner”: your own contracts.- “Properties”: your and your clients’ properties and their requests.
- 3Inside “My clients’ contracts” there are two tabs: “Ejar Contracts” and “Properties”.
A contract is placed under “My clients’ contracts” or “My contracts as owner” by the lessor’s ID number on Ejar, not by name.
The figures at the top
Four cards: Active contracts · In progress · Ending within 60 days · Total savings (the difference between the standard and broker price).
Filtering
All · In progress · Awaiting approvals · Awaiting Ejar fee · Active · Expired · Rejected.
Contract details
Tap any row to open “Contract details”:
- Progress: Creation → Ejar fee → Lessor approval → Tenant approval → Documentation. It advances only on what Ejar’s data confirms.
- Parties, property and unit as registered on Ejar.
- Payment status to Raghdan and the amount paid.
Payment status is not documentation status
There are two separate statuses:
| What it means | Who decides it | |
|---|---|---|
| Payment status to Raghdan | What happened to the amount you paid | Raghdan |
| Contract status | Where the contract stands on Ejar | Ejar |
Payment statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Awaiting payment completion | The amount is not complete yet |
| Held | Paid in full and held for the contract |
| Processing | The contract is being sent to Ejar |
| Paid | Raghdan read the contract as active on Ejar |
| Returned to wallet | The contract was not completed and the amount went back to your wallet |
| Under review | No clear result came from Ejar; Raghdan is reviewing it |
A completed payment does not mean a documented contract. Documentation is Ejar’s decision after the parties approve.
Approvals and when a contract becomes active
- After sending, the lessor and tenant approve the contract on Ejar through Nafath; the order of the two approvals is not fixed.
- If approvals are not completed within 7 days, the contract is not completed.
- A contract is “Active” once Ejar approves it, as long as its end date has not passed.
Not every contract reaches “Active”. It may stay awaiting approvals, be rejected by a party, be cancelled, or run out of time. The real status is always in the details panel; statuses you may see include:
Awaiting parties’ approval · Awaiting lessor approval · Awaiting tenant approval · Awaiting Ejar fee payment · Parties approved – awaiting documentation/activation · Documented and active · Rejected · Cancelled · Expired.
Drafts
If you leave before paying, save your work with “Exit and save draft”. The draft appears in the list as “Draft in progress”; continue it with “Complete draft”.
Downloading the contract
- “Download contract” on an active contract downloads the documented contract.
- Before approval it shows “Not approved” and downloads a draft copy for review only.
The invoice
- “Download invoice” in the list, and “Download tax invoice” in an active contract’s details, appear when the contract has an issued invoice.
- Without one, “There is no invoice for this contract” appears.
- See “Tax invoices for Raghdan service fees” in “Account & Wallet”.
