How do I use the Interactive Map?

4 min readLast updated: 2026-08-19

Before you start

  • Browsing needs no sign-in: open the map, pan it, zoom in and out, and switch between the standard map and satellite imagery freely.
  • Clicking a parcel needs a sign-in. On your first click a "Please sign in" dialog appears, and no data is shown before that.
  • Clicking only works when you are zoomed in far enough. At city or region level a click does nothing — zoom in until parcel outlines appear first.

Steps

  1. 1
    Open the interactive map page.
  2. 2
Drag to move the map, and zoom in and out to reach the location.
  3. 3
Use the "my location" button to jump to your position after granting location permission.
  4. 4
Zoom in to parcel level. Clicking does not work before that.
  5. 5
Click inside the parcel you want.
  6. 6
If you are not signed in, the sign-in dialog appears. Sign in and click the parcel again — no page refresh needed.
  7. 7
The map re-centres on the point you clicked and zooms in automatically.
  8. 8
The parcel image is created automatically and "Creating parcel image…" appears. You do not need to press any button.
  9. 9
The parcel image window opens with the land outline and its key details, along with five buttons: Add to listing · Additional information · Download · Share · Close.
  10. 10
Press "Additional information" to open the property report in the side panel.
  11. 11
Scroll inside the report to see the remaining sections.
  12. 12
Close the report and pick another location whenever you like.

When does the report open directly, without an image?

In three cases the system skips the image and opens the property report straight away:

  • No registered parcel at the point you clicked.
  • The report could not be fetched for a technical reason.
  • The parcel exists but cannot be drawn — it has no boundary polygon or no parcel number.

And if image creation starts but fails, you get the error message together with an "Additional information" button — so a click never dead-ends on a blank screen.

What do the map elements mean?

  • The dot at the parcel centre: marks the centre of the selected parcel.
  • The blue outline: represents the selected parcel boundary.
  • Other colours: may represent area layers or projects. Click a coloured area to see the layer details when available.
  • Some locations have no parcel data.

Notice: The drawing is for guidance only, and clicking parcels requires signing in.
