Contracts in Property Management

Where to find contracts

From the sidebar → "Contracts".

What the list shows

Each contract appears with its essentials: the property and unit it belongs to, the tenant, the contract period with start and end dates, the value, and the status.

The list merges two sources — contracts coming from the Ejar platform and contracts managed inside the platform — so you see all your obligations in one place.

Contract statuses

Active contracts are what the "Active contracts" card on the dashboard counts.

The difference between the two sources

This distinction matters in practice:

A contract coming from the Ejar platform:

• Its data is recorded in the Ejar platform; Raghdan displays it.
• Read-only inside Property Management. It is not edited or terminated from here.
• Any change to it happens in its own flow and appears here afterwards.

A contract managed inside the platform:

• Its data is yours, and it appears alongside the rest of your lists.

In both cases a contract links a unit to a tenant for a period, and payments and instalments are derived from it.

How it relates to the other sections

• A unit becomes occupied when an active contract covers it.
• A tenant appears in the tenants list through their contract.
• Payments and instalments are derived from the contract's period and value — see Invoices, payments and instalments.

If a contract does not appear

   Reopen the page. The read happens on open, not live.

   Check the filters — the contract may be excluded by a status or date filter.

   If you are a team member: check that you hold view contracts.

   If the contract is in the Ejar platform: see Ejar platform data inside Property Management.

   Check the linked unit — a contract without a valid unit may not appear where you expect.
