What is VAT documentation on Raghdan?
The “VAT Registration” service lets companies and establishments document their establishment and its VAT number on the Raghdan platform, so it is kept on their profile once reviewed.
What the service does
- One documentation request that brings together: the VAT number, the VAT registration certificate, the commercial register extract, and proof of your capacity in the establishment.
- The request is reviewed by the Raghdan team.
- You follow its status from your profile: “Not documented”, “Pending verification”, “Verified”, or “Rejected” with the reason.
What the service does not do
- It is not a new tax registration with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), and does not replace one. VAT registration is done with ZATCA itself.
- Nothing is verified automatically with any authority. The Raghdan team reviews the documents and checks the number on ZATCA’s official “VAT Registration Verification” service.
- A correctly formatted number (15 digits) alone is not documentation.
How the review works
A request is approved only when the Raghdan team confirms all three:
- 1The commercial register extract shows the entity is a company or an establishment.
- 2You have capacity to represent it: an owner or manager named in the register, or a delegate with an authorisation letter.
- 3The VAT number is registered on ZATCA’s official service under a name that matches the establishment.
Your documents stay private
The documents you upload are never shown publicly; only the authorised Raghdan review team can see them.
